John W. Henry is the co-founder and owner of STAT. He is also the publisher and owner of the Boston Globe. He purchased the Globe and its affiliated news businesses in 2013, becoming only the third owner in the history of the newspaper, the largest in New England. Through the John W. Henry Family Foundation, he and his wife Linda Pizzuti Henry have supported dozens of organizations devoted to improving health care. John is the principal owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club.
