Brittany Trang is a business of health care reporter at STAT. Previously, she was a 2022-2023 Sharon Begley Science Reporting Fellow at STAT and a 2021 AAAS Mass Media Fellow at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Her work has also appeared in publications like Billboard, Undark, and Chemical & Engineering News. Brittany has a chemistry Ph.D. from Northwestern University, where she developed PFAS remediation methods. She is based in Columbus, Ohio.
